BALANCE

I had landed a position at a prestigious law firm and had everything mapped out. For several years, I was living the high life, but it came at a cost—constant back pain, a plethora of minor yet bothersome symptoms like weekend migraines, and persistent anxiety. At one point, I even questioned my effectiveness in my job, just as my husband was urging me to invest in real estate properties. I vividly recall one evening when all I wanted was to go to bed, but instead, we found ourselves bickering over who should take our eldest son to the dentist. I ended up taking him, and while waiting, on a whim, I scheduled my first call with Giusy. That decision revitalized me.

“ONE BUTTERFLY EFFECT AT THE TIME”

I was at the peak of my race towards meeting the requirements for partnership when life took an unexpected turn, and I found myself alone managing two children under the age of 10. I didn't want to abandon my career, which had cost me so many sacrifices, but the idea of juggling between school and nannies and the weight of separation kept me awake at night.I was terrified and worried; everywhere I turned, it seemed like the choice was between letting go of an important piece of my life or another. Now I can say that Giusy's help was crucial in finding a balance that I didn't think was possible. Nor so fulfilling.
